The Joys Of Palate And Fine Apparel Poem by Lalleshwari

The Joys Of Palate And Fine Apparel

Rating: 4.4

The joys of palate and fine apparel
bring man no lasting peace.
They who give up false hopes and don't
put trust in the things of the world,
Ascend, unafraid of Death's terrors
by scriptures told;
For having lived contented lives,
they are not debtors of Desire

Indeed they are not debtors of Desires, we want more and to achieve that we strive hard and uses wrong ways.

True wisdom here. All things temporal pass away. I haven't tried Pilates yet, but I am sure this, too, will pass.
