The Long Road Poem by Dave Alan Walker

The Long Road

Frozen in a moment of realisation
that we are living in a world created
by the price you have to pay

This is the long road

Good poem, Dave. The skies were dark and gloomy this morning and I was ready to get into a gloomy mood. But then I saw a tree in all its majestic beauty, shining its wonderful green against the grey skies, It suddenly made me believe again in the future. :) We can each contribute a small difference and turn around to the other end of the road.

This poem speaks volumes on the world we live in today....a world that we created and now have to pay the price. A true and sad reality.

A melancholic poem... but, let us enjoy the life we have been given, for there are great, great things we can be grateful about...
