There is some unknown emptiness whenever I fail to see stars in the sky. Even in the middle of the night when I wake, before returning to bed I invariably look out of the window how they have progressed in their nightly walk in the sky. It is easy to be with you when you say ...the velvety night sky let my spirits soar. Lovely Haiku.
