The Pain Of The Earth
Super tornados increasing
Deadly pandemics surging
And rainforests depleting
Ice caps rapidly melting
And super floods rampaging
Drilling the worlds pristine wilderness
Deserts now spreading
Alzheimer's linked to air pollution
Plastic in all the oceans
Coral reefs dying, what's the solution
Global heating a degree too high
The Earth is in a mess
We need a revolution
Politicians slow to react
They take money to go slow
Fossil fuel lobby a big fact
Their profits continue to rise
Economies based on growth
Unrelenting globalisation the prize
Stripping the Earth their solemn oath
The Earth is now becoming very sick
And it will not to be heaven sent
Earth will retaliate with a pandemic
Or a new mass extinction event
Great poem. The solution is to listen to scientists free of corruption of lobbyists.

I find this poem to be relevant. The planet is being abused by we humans as a result and its repercussions could be deadly
