The Rain Is Falling - Πέφτει Η Βροχή
The rain is falling
and I'm soaking wet
I don't look like a human
more like a fish in the net
The road drove me at the cursed place
Right were we met
I thought you loved me
Alas, you were a lost bet
Now, although I'm still walking
My time is already set
Πέφτει η βροχή
Με βλέπεις μουσκεμένο
Δε μοιάζω με άνθρωπο
Μα με ψάρι στο δίχτυ πιασμένο
Βγήκα στο μέρος που συναντηθήκαμε
Μου μοιάζει καταραμένο
Νόμιζα πως μ' αγαπούσες
Μα ήσουν στοίχημα χαμένο
Τώρα, αν κι ακόμα περπατώ
Είναι το τέλος μου γραμμένο

A beautiful poem set against the rain where the man is looking more like a fish caught in a net. A tricky situation, indeed. Did he ever find love? Or lost it all? That shall remain a puzzle to me! Enjoyed the poem Kostas........5 Stars
