THE RING
My mother's soul threw her
Ring
In my path…a miracle in troth
It was the key to Pandora's box
And the ensuing wrath.
Out flowed many evils
Unraveling hidden devils
the eye had never seen;
the mind beguiled, to have left them unseen.
Out flowed many evils…
But, there also flew out Hope
Reviving love, loyalty and life with Hope
Cleansing away the scars that had wreaked out perils…
For my Mother's sweet abode to be lit up with HOPE.

How sweetest is this Sonnet, dear poetess. WOW! The only thing that will never be erased or washed away is HOPE. What a magnificent poem in bringing out HOPE. With you, I bet, your dear Mother will be present constantly all th time, since you love to observe and remember, you love her so much that your words are soaring between reality and imagination. A very precious poem for a beloved Mother. CONGRATULATIONS as the MPOTD.
A poignant bit of verse, well conceived and nicely penned from the heart. A beautiful creation.
Unlike Pandora's Box, your mother's ring turned to be paradoxical. Nicely articulated poem. Thanks and Congrats.
