As we kiss each other all over before the dawn
We watch the stars wondering like children
If us, human would change
They would tell us, we are wrong
But they are silent though brightly shine
Like an eternity that we no longer can reach
They have no answer to tell
As we continue to watch, we lie underneath their glory
They remain quiet like the night itself
And the sunrise blinds us into shame
Of our nakedness knowing we have sinned
Don't worry LeeAnn, our ‘sinful' activity will take hundreds of light years to reach the stars! ! Top marks.
And the sunrise blinds us into shame Of our nakedness knowing we have sinned...naked truth!
I love the vague allusion to the incident of Fall in the garden of Eden. This poem beautifully captures the ambiguity of love that stirs both delight and shame in humans.
If you are talking about immoral / extra-marital then you have sinned but if it is with your lawful partner than no need to worry, I take it a symbolic mention here and interpret it differently. Full ****
The love that one shares with another is never a sin. Besides the suns a star too, its just the only one to make us blush.
This is an exceptional piece.....well expressed.....thanks for sharing....

I would like to translate this poem
Love between man and women is very natural, we don't know much about the celestial body, their attraction through light may be a love bond between them who knows. Excellent poem.
