The Wonders Of A River
O how enchanting a river is!
It is like a human being,
Always moving and seeking.
It follows a path but sometimes
Its great journey changes.
It makes her way patiently
And powerfully.
It flows with the wind and lilies
And accepts whatever men
Throw in its wonderful mouth.
And like a man who is
Tired of his wanderings,
Always succumbs to the arms
Of a loving mother as
The open arms of the sea.
