I was a vilain,
Today a hero.
I was a coward,
Today i'm intrepid.
I was a looser,
Today a winner.
They laughed at me,
They all did.
My tears brought joy
To their hearts.
My sorrows and hardships
Amused them, A LOT.
They didn't realise,
Ha! Ha!
It was too early,
Too early to judge
My destiny.
They forgot,
God heard my prayers.
They forgot,
Nothing ever stays the same.
I smile with the rising sun,
And wave good night to the
Sinking sun.
Their insults made me
STRONG..........
And God unswered....
MY PRAYERS.

Fantastic, Wonderful. What a good poem. So true, ridicule by other people makes us stronger Sometimes our God pushes us through some hardshi to really get us to the top. I liked this oem very, very much.
they laughed because they are celebrate with your success earlier...so if someone laugh at you one more time in the future mean, you will meet new success, they just celebrate it earlier..they know it..be positive always_Unwritten Soul
Bra Siya... I have a Xhosa version Of this poem... Taken from that Zahara track Besithi Ndiyaboniswa... I felt pretty much what you felt writtin this poem. I looked back at how it was hard to penetrate myself and fit in... But I was always deprived. this poem signifies the fact that... Only time wilL tell... yerstday u were at the back sit.. And now u rollin...
Wow! very inspiring poem. You trusted your God and they laugh at you no more. Great work again! ! !
