The pandemic has caused many to feel lonely, what with social distancing. A lovely tribute to Hank Williams.

Hank Williams, a great, dear singer… and your tribute to him through this poem is most appropriate. On the other hand, the melancholy feeling of loneliness, life in isolation… it's killing….true, LeeAnn.. when I add five stars to this poem, my fingers shiver….

LeeAnn, a marvelous poem about one of my favorite singers, but mostly about loneliness. Hang in there; the pandemic can't last forever and someday we will all be able to go out it the sunshine or even sing in the rain!

I used to lay behind Clara and stroke her when she got older, she couldn't walk far without me supporting her back legs but I know what yr going through and I bet Canada is very cold now.

My favorite song of Hank's is 'Your Cheatin' Heart' and I have that one totally memorized. I wish I could be there to sing it to you.

Cowboy, I also have that song memorized. I sang it on stage at an assembly at school when I was still a teacher. We should get together and sing a duet!

Great poem, LeeAnne! I love Hank Williams, and not just because he is a not-too-distant cousin! I can sing most of his songs, and people tell me I sound pretty good.

You are related to Old Hank? Now that I did not know! Why don't you add it to your biography?
