Tomorrow - Poem by Fawn Carey

Memories flooding back through the corridors of my mind.
Haunting me as I realize that its just another nightmare of the past.
Those days are gone, borne away by time.

If I try, with the strength of my omnipresent Father and the courage of His Son I can forgive and forget.
It's all over now.
The damage is done.
It is time to move on.
Time search new and unexplored territory.
No longer dwelling on the past.
It can no longer stalk me as the serpent does his prey.

It's going to be alright I guess.
Thanks for waking me up.
I'll go back to bed now and dream of tomorrow.
Tomorrow is when I start a new life.
