Vedic Prayer 13 - Friends Forever
May all look at me with friendly eyes,
Mind they not or bother, whether I am young or old,
Make me so strong and firm that
May all beings, perceive me with benevolence.
Let me look at all beings too, with friendly eyes,
Let me never stray away from affable camaraderie,
Let my eyes only perceive equality, not differences,
Let me embrace only the warmth of friendly love.
How wonderful to look at each other with eyes full of friendliness,
How glorious to greet each other with warm affection and kindness.
