I'm waiting on a dream
that may or may not come true
I'm waiting on a dream
a dream of me and you
no matter where I go
no matter what I do
I know I can't replace
this love I have for you
So I'll wait on a dream
that may or may not come true
cause I know there could never be
another me and you

A beautiful poem. Dreams are those delicate threads leading us to reality, but unfortunately many break before reaching realization.
A dream is often more beautiful than reality - feel like " every night in my dreams..."
What a beautiful poem on the deep and passionate love of the 'Lion & Tigress'! May the waiting end one day, and the fire of passion devour fiercely through the rest of your lives (either one first) !
If the truth is there, then one day that will come true but it may just be my dream and my dream only.
@Luis...Hi thank you for your interpretation but the poem was meant exactly how it was written. There could never be another relationship like the lover had with him...thus calling this relationship " me and you" In other words, the lover will never be able to replace the relationship she had thus stuck in a dream she will die waiting for or maybe not.....thank you though for the comment!
