इन फ़र्ज़ी नेताओं ने सिवाय झूठ के हमें कुछ नहीं दिया
गुड मॉर्निंग
मेरे मुल्क की दीवारें (फ़्रीयाद इब्राहीम)
मेरा नाम दीवार है
मैं एक आम सी गली के बगल में खड़ी हूँ
ऊब जाने की हद तक मैं लंबी हूँ
और
इतनी ज्यादा ऊंची हूँ जितना मेरा क्रोध है
सारे के सारे नारे मुझ पर टाँगे जाते हैं
सारे के सारे पोस्टर मुझ पर चस्पाँ होते हैं
सौ नारों में से एक भी नारा
खुशी नहीं दे पाता मुझको
कल की बात बताती हूँ
ऊपर से लेकर नीचे तक
उन लोगों ने मुझ पर लिक्खा कागज सा चिपकाया था.
जब मैंने इसको पढ़ा तो पढ़ कर
मैं शर्म से पानी पानी हो गई थी
कोई ऐसा सोच सकता था
कि मैं अपने ही मुल्क की ऐसी दीवार बन जाऊँगी
जो सब बातों से बेखबर हो जायेगी
और उसके ऊपर बड़े बड़े सफ़ेद झूठ
पोत दिए जायेंगे? !

These fake leaders have taught us nothing but lies
Good morning
Walls Of My Homeland by Freeyad Ibrahim
My name is Wall
Located along a public street
I am as long as boredom is
and
as high as wrath
All the slogans are hung over me
All the posters are affixed to me
Out one hundred slogans there is not a single one
which makes me happy
It was just yesterday,
from top to toe,
they stuck a sign unto me.
When I read it,
shame disgraced me
How could it be
That I'd be a wall of a homeland
detached,
to which such big lies
are attached? !
A heart wrenching plea. Dewarein bolti hai, cheekhti hai chillati hai un dukh bhare mahoul ka jisse unhe wabasta kiya gaya hai. Saara gandh saari mariyadein langh kar insaan ka ghinaona tandav dekh dekh kar afsurdah ho jaati hai. Dil ko chuu jaane waali kavita.100++
मैं शर्म से पानी पानी हो गई थी कोई ऐसा सोच सकता था कि मैं अपने ही मुल्क की ऐसी दीवार बन जाऊँगी जो सब बातों से बेखबर हो जायेगी और उसके ऊपर बड़े बड़े सफ़ेद झूठ पोत दिए जायेंगे? !
I, too, feel that this is the focal point of the poem. Too powerful to be ignored. We have also been watching such walls (e.g. Electronic Media) around us.
Wonderful Poem and Transaltion in Hindi. Rajnish ji, i do not know, how i missed this poem. The lament of the wall is both absorbing and heart touching. Excellent expression and vocabulary!
