When I Dance........3 Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

When I Dance........3

Rating: 5.0

When I dance,
I hold the 'Mudra' of a beautiful lotus,
My fingers opened and cupped like a flower!

Lotus is a divine flower
That teaches and instructs;
Not to look down into the dirt always,
But to look up into the sun's golden rays,
To move forward,
To surge upwards,
Towards higher purpose,
Towards a lofty goal!

The quest for the gem in the lotus,
To embrace soft petals of the lotus,
To seek the absolute truth and bliss!

You are a loving mother. In frame of Goddess Laxmi you love to be in Mudra of Lotus. Then you perform dance with much devotion and care and cupped fingers are opened up like the petals of flowers. What an amazing scene you have painted of your live performance through this poem! As I am feeling, I am watching you live in youtube or in a stage. Divine feature of Lotus captures sun's rays and you capture the same as well as grace of God. Divinity gives us bliss!
