While Walking Through My Land
in the land of temporary snow,
very hard to like it now,
it's my home, so I do love it,
the temporary rains do not cease,
then ice on your windshield,
then water again
as in Niagara Falls,
how should this continue?
the land of the beautiful fresh tulips, daffodils, and roses
you cannot enjoy this whole month better
only water, water, and water,
little hail, little snow
for this last time in the spring of now,
always rain, and more rain,
whatever comes down,
we should always be thankful,
for the capriciousness of nature.

Very descriptive and well written poem Picture painted makes us feel we are there. A poem that captivates and is inspiring, showing how much you love and care for your unique country.Congratu; ations to Holland.
Nature is unbiased and kind to us as always but we hardly respect and reciprocate.5*****
We also have these tests of patience in Seattle, but luckily we will soon enter into our rainless season. After 80 days without a raindrop, we begin to sympathize with the thirst of plants.
It is hard to like, but you do like it, and that's what I like about this poem. Having one's patience tested when you are grateful for the overall relation...this is a sign of life.
Nature has a will of its own. This time she wanted rain to stay longer. You expressed the capriciousness of nature very well.
Sylvia, your poems are springing up on us and reigning like the beautiful flowers in your native land. Personally, I would find all that rain somewhat depressing. But you've made it refreshing and inspiring.
Sometimes too much rain brings problems. But it is ok. We should enjoy. Nicely done. Thanks.
Thank you so much, dear Anil Sir for your attentive comment.
