Why Does It Matter - Poem by ZoeLeigh Vaughan
Why does it matter how much money
Our parents have,
Who cares if you are at a stuck up rich school,
Or am I just a public school slut,
and not good enough for you.
When you look at me,
What do you see,
Do you see a girl that loves you beyond belief
Or do you see a public school girl not worthy of your affection.
When your friends talk trash about me,
Do you stop them,
Or do you play along,
Or do you actually agree with what they say.
Why does it matter what schools we go to,
Or what house we inhabit,
Why does it matter if you have more money then me,
Or if you parents don't think I'm good enough.
Why can't you just love me the way I love you!
