Yoga 7 - Buddhi - A Strong Choice
Buddhi is a strong will to make
A choice!
A choice of right thinking,
A choice of right attitude,
A choice of right action,
A movement in the right direction!
Buddhi has the capacity
To distinguish between
The right and the not so right!
To absorb only the good
To discard the unwanted and
To dispel the ignoble!
Buddhi has a wonderful way of
Thinking capacity, an ability
To enjoy preferences!
To vote for the positive,
To throw away the negative,
To create a sublime way of life!
Buddhi has options
To remain happy
To be content!
To become generous,
To forgive and forget,
To love and spread love.

It is such a beautiful poem- a joy to read and so deep in meaning to contemplate upon. First part of the poem brings to my mind the concept of 'vivek' as we know it in general parlance: To absorb only the good / To discard the unwanted and / To dispel the ignoble!
