Young At Heart Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Young At Heart

Rating: 5.0

Age is that thing
That devours your body with time,
One moment you're agile,
Feeling fine,
The next you do nothing
But whinge and whine.
An ache here,
An ache there,
An ache everywhere!
Wrinkles appear,
Teeth depart,
But you must continue to remain
Young at heart.
Let your fears go over your head,
Crank up the music instead,
Stay young inside,
It's a part of life,
Life's never an easy ride,
Old age comes to each and every one,
Enjoy it while you can,
Make life fun.

The Title of this poem is the same as the film wherein Doris Day played a leading role, the theme I don't know anymore, only the Title's name, but your poem has a special message, wonderful poem deserves Top Marks, Jayne. Enjoyed it
