They say love is forever. Once you have it nothing can break the bond. And I thought you were mine forever. But it takes 2 people for the bond and I guess I was all alone the whole time. They say when you look in the eyes of the person you truly love then the whole world slows down and it's like you're frozen in time just looking at your soulmate. And that's how it felt with you but to you it was just a regular day with cars speeding by thinking about something else. And it didn't hurt that bad at first but over time it felt like I was getting ripped apart slowly reaching out to you trying to get you to hold out your hand. But all you did was point and laugh while I was disappearing into nothing. And I guess in a way that was you helping me. And the whole time I was blind because I saw you as my angel. All you really were was a nightmare lasting forever. People say that you will know instantly when you see your soulmate. And you showed me that there will always be demons trying to fool you. So in the end love is forever but nightmares will go on for infinity and there's no escaping when you get sucked in.

I asked who my soulmate was
is it a person with whom you're in love,
Or is it the person with the same beliefs you share
Or the person with the same loving caring stare.

Love enthrones my heart because of you, my love
Giving each day sweet purpose and delight
No longer do I wander lost, lonely and forlorn
Walking purple storms buffeted by harsh winds
