A Child Of Forbearance.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

A Child Of Forbearance....

Rating: 5.0

A Child Of Forbearance....

the wind in the willows,
are playing with the grass beneath,

what day is it today,
that heat of today?

Such a beautiful day,
let's play in the hay
or is it still too cold?

It is still spring
and this midnight the pains came,
our cute second grandson,
is helped by the midwife,
how sweetest is his appearance,

I see in him a child of forbearance,

two days ago on Tuesday I told my daughter-in-law,
I have dreamt about she and the baby,

she smiles introvertly and says:
let's wait and see,
the baby is still in my belly....

Epilogue:
Thank you Lord, that you are always with us.
Tuan Ilya Tan is born two days later,
on Thursday the 12th of March 2020 at 00: 53 hrs.
53 minutes past midnight.

Spring has come with the birth of a fortunate child by God's grace. A cute grandson is ever admired an affectionate grandmother. You see in him a child of forbearance. We feel very happy reading such a lovely poem which reflects your affection and as a grandmother you have interestingly expressed your view in this tender poem. We also thank Lord like you. This is a great write....10

Another sweet and lovely poem for a beautiful baby. So lovingly and tenderly penned by a wonderful grandmother. I like how the opening lines of this marvelous write. The happiness of anticipating the birth of your grandson is clearly shown and mingling the write with the wonders of nature made it more joyful to read.

A heartfelt poem so beautifully written. Grandchildren are the crown of grandparents. A brilliant portrayal of the joy and pride of a grandmother.
