A Flight Poem by Mohammad Akmal Nazir

A Flight

Rating: 5.0

Thy abode is in the mountains,
O, eagle of high altitude,
I love thee for thy courage and zeal,
Thou soar in the sky
And watch them scornfully,
Who fly on lower pitch,
They lack confidence and courage,
But thou fly and fly to attain summit,
Make our youth familiar with thy spirit,
So that they may also soar in the sky of success,
And meet their goal.

the best image of bravery, high-spirited and free was chosen by the poet to maximize his hope and wish in this poem. Eagle, sky and summit made this poem full of power and energy. Excellent.

I enjoy this very much! The Lord promises that the youth will faint and be weary and utterly fall, but yet they that wait on Him will mount up with wings as eagles, running and not being weary, and walking and not fainting. What a beautiful metaphor the eagle is for strength and excellence! I really liked this!

I absolutely love it. So much like a prayer, truly a worthy creature to idolize. The native Americans held them to be sacred. A ten.
