A Lover's Plea - English Ghazal Poem by M. Asim Nehal

A Lover's Plea - English Ghazal

Rating: 5.0

Those seven colours of your charm alive
Thus, invite me to own a rainbow of my life

I have fallen from the mountain of my ego
To the depths of your sea like a waterfall

In some corner of your infinite spacy heart
My tiny love fire tries to ignite me in you

Please keep safe the pieces of my feelings in your eye
You may require them to shower when I am gone.

I love this fascinating English Ghazal, Asim ji. The metaphors used in the poem with a philosophical insight makes the poem truly charming like the seven rainbow colours of life. Wonderful poem that deserves five stars.
