I got one day a nightingale feather.
I took it to my bed.
It was a great treasure.
I kept it on my breast.
I slept in harmony.
In the depth of the night
the feather began to sing
the loveliest of songs.
My heart sang with
and i slept in peace.
It was my eternal sleep.

In the depth of the night the feather began to sing the loveliest of songs. My heart sang with and i slept in peace. It was my eternal sleep........so touching and impressive. Before an eternal sleep a person wants to enjoy his life. A great philosophical write.10
Wow...A serene write that reminds one of the lightness of being when close to the light. A soul-steadying beauty.10+++

Hi Tony A wonderfully serene poem with a wondrous idea. Sleeping with a Nightingale's feather is so harmonious. Thanks so much, Paul
I just said in a crowd, “I love you.” in return millions said. “I love you, too.” I had thought I would end my journey as a creditor, but my bank statement tells I am ending as a debtor.
Sends me to Tranquility and a serene state. Thanks for sharing
