A Parting Prayer Divine... Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

A Parting Prayer Divine...

A small part out of all the happiness thine,
My Lord, I request thee to part with me
May that part purify all the parts in me!
My body, my intelligence, my mind-
My part, I understand, is to serve thee,
Until the day I depart from this world

A part of the profit I thus derive,
I promise to all my willing partners,
that partakes in thy holy service
I accept all parts thus imparted to me
For I know not- ever- what thou hath written
In the secret codes, on my part line hair apart

A prayer of humility. That divine part is required to make our existence complete...without which we are just products of mechanized thinking

Amazing prayer chant…Uncle ‘How can I read, what you have scribed /There on my parting line, apart? ’ Such earnestness will reach to Master …and poet’s voidness will be fulfilled by Bliss Because God is ‘quick-eared’…ever minuscule of prayer reaches Him…as I’ve read in book of Ramakrishna where He says, ‘He can hear the jingle of ankle bangle of ant’ 10/10+ hf Ms. Nivedita UK

Such good use of alliteration makes the prayer sound melodious. Fantastic!

Nice prayer: good thought - simple, but expressed in a unique way. Vanita.

You are indeed a good bargainer, knowing perfectly well that even a fraction means.... I think it's a great prayer and well compiled, may God always be kind to you!
