A Song For Tomorrow Poem by Rini Shibu

A Song For Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

When i sing a song
It's from my heart
When i say a word
It's from my mind
Spiced up with happiness
and seasoned with sorrow
These prints are leaves
hanging at the tip of a twig
Waiting for a blow of wind
to be carried away
to the distant place
Because tomorrow
If I am not there at your side
My song will stay
close to your heart
And will be hummed
by your lips

Hi Rini, Let me sing a song for you Flavoured with a tinge of my life Whose words are my morrow And music, my sorrows. Now, it finds its life On your quivering lips, So it lives long After I depart.
