A Winter's Walk On Sunday Morn Poem by Patricia Gale

A Winter's Walk On Sunday Morn

Rating: 5.0

Most of the town was still inside keeping warm
As I bundled up to venture outside
Last night’s remnants of a rain storm
Laid upon the ground and sounded with each step and stride

From the corner of my eye I seen a rabbit scurrying away
A sound from up above making me aware of beauty in flight
Maple tree branches making musical sounds guided by the winds sway
Puffy ivory clouds filling my sight

The chill of the day brushes across my cheek
Breathing in then releasing crisp air
My senses capture the gentle sounds of water rushing over stones from the nearby creek
Closing my eyes and crossing for his life, thank you for this day becomes my prayer

For most eyes might not see
The beauty of this winters day
But He has allowed my heart to open and be filled with the Three
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thank you for showing me the peace filled way

I ponder over the concept, that in that moment no-one else could ever experience the exact same sights and sounds as you have portrayed Exellent feel to this one Thankyou Patricia Love duncan X
