As the turbulent married life of
Albert with Mileva ended in Switzerland,
Amidst the tyranny of war and its terrible effects,
Albert developed a bitter view on marriage itself.
He stated: 'Marriage makes people treat each other
As articles of property and no longer as free human beings.'
In spite of his statement that:
' Marriage is but slavery made to appear civilised.'-
Just three months later,
After his divorce from Mileva on 14th Febraury 1919,
He married his cousin Elsa on 2nd June 1919 in Germany,
Where he was not bound by any rules to get remarried again.
After their marriage, their entire family moved into
Einstein's spacious house in Berlin, Germany.
They lived together with Elsa's two daughters
-Twenty two year old Ilse and twenty year old Margot,
Elsa's mother Fanny, who was Albert's mother Pauline's sister, and Albert's favourite Uncle Jacob -
A happy joint family, indeed!
The marriage with Elsa remained stable and peaceful.
It lasted for seventeen years until Elsa's death in 1936.
Elsa was a kind lady with a lot of tolerance and patience.
Elsa never showed any emotions of jealousy. She gave
Her husband the freedom, to live his life, on his own terms,
Never interfering with his work or his association with women.
That was the secret of success of their marriage!
Elsa was happy with the glory that her husband enjoyed,
And was proud to be the wife of a world famous scientist.
Though Einstein had many love affairs during his life time,
He never married any one else, and was always happy to Return home to his wife with whom he was most peaceful.
A Biographical Poem
Elsa was his own niece and she had grown matured, they are both in an elder stage of life, whereas Mileva she was young and inexperienced and there was not much money in their home. They are like rough rock stones, not yet polished by experience

Ma'am life offers so many tyranny. Sometimes good sometimes bad. We all try to overcome them. Some we succeed some we fail. At least Einstein found a peaceful and happy life partner and settled well. Into my favourite.
We can learn so many life's lessons on the life of a great man. So glad I read most of the series of this wonderful poem.

As I have known: in this ethnic group (jews) the intimacy of families prevail above own love or own family life. The togetherness as a large family altogether counts as number one, the most important
