Anderson Dccclviii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Anderson Dccclviii

Rating: 5.0

Yr kisses are majestic on my face
As I wanted yr love for a long time
But you rejected mine
And chosen to make love to someone else
Despite my pleas
As my heart became shattered like a fist to a mirror
You left for a distant land
And I watched the skies for yr return
However, you never did
Now, I stand alone in the vortex of the city
With the tears that wait for you to wipe them away
My heart will yearn forever
Those majestic kisses upon yr lips

Love's other face, which reveals heartbreak and regret, has been poignantly portrayed here, LeeAnn. A fine poem. Top score! ! !
