She ran out of the mist and into his arms
Hid from the hurt and out of the harm
I’d do anything babe
Anything
He held her tight and whispered into her ear
With all of his might, so all the world could hear
I’d do anything babe

He kissed her hand and caressed her cheek
Stood like a man, made her knees go weak
I’d do anything babe
Anything
He kept her safe, and cheered her mood
Stared into her face, and only saw good
I’d do anything babe

No longer did she love him, She no longer felt cheer
But he would never give in and his message was clear
I’d do anything babe

“I hate you” “I wish you were dead”
Her words were true, and a tear he did shed
I’d do anything babe
