Being fed-up of the books of ethics
I think I have wasted my valuable time.
As I knew before reading of these books
that,
anything that promotes love is good
and,
anything that promotes hate is bad.
Even if a sin is promoting love
it's changed in a worship
if it succeeds in modifying the lust
in the bond of a lifelong trust.
a lovely write about what might show the light love is right? ....................brilliantly written Akhtar
Beautiful poem flowing in words of wisdom. Loved reading it. Congratulations on member poem of the day!
If your heart is full of love for all there is no need of a book to learn from it. Short and to the point. Liked it and Congrats.
akhtar, i definitely relate to your fed-up feeling and agree that anything that promotes love is good. it may be i'm not taking this far enough in thought or implications, but can it be sin if it promotes love? and i'd like, if you would, an explanation of the last two lines. thank you for putting before us something worthy of reflection. glen
A philosophy that transcends all books and words on ethics comes out neatly through this masterpiece. Thanks for sharing the poem, Akhtar Jawad Sahab. I quote: anything that promotes love is good anything that promotes hate is bad.
Love is associated with ethics, morality and values and life is associated with love. You are very right to remind all about love to accept as worship in life to modify this world. An excellent poem is chosen as poem of the day. Congratulations sir! ...10
I found this poem humorous and funny. A very pleasant read. Congratulations, dear Sir. For having been chosen; (your poem.)
'anything that promotes love is good and, anything that promotes hate is bad' - eternally true! Congratulations on its being selected as the 'Member Poem of the Day'.
Terrorists are promoting hate and evil in the name of their God. Throughout all of history, all religions have done the same. Should they/we not be promoting love and peace in the name of an all-loving God? Akhtar, congratulations on Poem Of The Day!
