Let's hold hands
Crossing the bridge in Apollo's Garden
And when we get to the other side,
Please don't let go
As holding yr hand is guiding through
For I fear the sunrise
We will picnic near the fountain for breakfast
And watch the wren and dove play
We'll toss coins in it to make a wish
Hoping that our mutual wish will come true
As we watch for the sunset, we will hold each other
Waiting for the moon to arrive
Blinding us with light
An exquisite rendering of the affinity of love. The closing lines are rhe icing on the cake
Well written words on affinity and fear associated to it yet a hope too to be together forever. Well penned sir.
We can appreciate wonders of life better when we are with our beloved.
A marvelous poem beautifully conceived and expressed.
Always pleasure to be with the loved ones and also to read such wonderful poem of yours. Superb! ! ! ! 5****
