As The Years Go By
You'll be in my thoughts,
Forever and a day,
You will be missed,
More than words can say.
There was only one you,
A kind and gentle soul,
Like the morning sun,
My life feels empty now your gone.
Walk that heavenly place,
And hold your head up high,
I miss your smiling face,
As the years go by,
And when my days are over,
I hope you will be there,
Waiting with that smile,
Upon that golden stair.
