(dedicated to Ms. Fiona Davidson, a great poet at poemhunter)
over an enchanted lake
graceful notes of Gamelan
move along banks of the soul
you perceives ancient tradition
the wave pulls light out the sky
blends seamlessly with artistry
among hedges of bougainvillea
sensuous curves of stone statues
a sanctuary for your senses
special charm that soothes spirits
the smooth fragrance of Chempaka
sweetness of love in the cool paradise
(inspired by Adrien Jean Le Mayeur De Merpres' paintings)

I don't know the meaning of 'Au Lac de Beratan', yet the poem under the title is wonderful.
An elegant poem in classic pen. Such a nice tribute to Fiona. Thank you. Jim
Wow, the wave pulls light out of the sea: what an idea! 'the wave pulls light out the sky blends seamlessly with artistry among hedges of bougainvillea sensuous curves of stone statues'. This is very splendid. So poetic and artistic.
Well done indeed, Ahmad. This is a wonderfully constructed write. good flow and incisive wording make this a pleasure to read. The dedication is pleasingly appropriate, as well. Great work my friend. Richard
You have blanketed Fiona with loving comparisons to the beauty without and within her. You accentuated her uniqueness with delicate contrasts of precious visual delights. Beautiful. A true joy. Yes, to truly share, I shall read her poems. Carol
