Behind The Wall Poem by Soran M. H

Behind The Wall

Rating: 5.0

Pen on the desk
Slept for ages
Wakes up only for meals
Why not?

Glass behind it
In mistrust and luck of confidence
thirsty for a drop of water
while their friend pitcher,
has been pierced below
and the chair
which is covered in dust
has a reason for ennoblement

Ashtray on the table
wearing a mask
displays itself as a most
beautiful vase

To stay there
always they have to agree
with the picture that hung on the wall

For decades
time paused in that room

the only thing
that break the silence:
click the diplomatic bag
a dead poem jumping out of it
wilted poem!
such a dry lip of the pitcher

Outside the room
white hair of cypress
laid on the ground,
half the night has passed
Cypress still awake
saw the dew's fury
as they were combing hair of the narcissus before
But now
does not only carry away the storks nest
but becomes a river
merges into the ocean

Summer has to put himself
under the scorching sun
to dry his clothes
and not be delayed
for the ash ceremony
of late spring

Topic(s) of this poem: corruption
this poem (Behind the wall) , in 2014 I published it in English, over all In this poem we can clearly see two scenes: the first one is the atmosphere behind the walls of the Directors and officials and what is going on there, and the second: on the street and what
is happening there to majority of the people who are suffering from the sequences of corruption, nepotism, the sectarian and dictatorships.. But here in this poem only one fate Certainly will wait for all, whichis a beautiful curse {in a poetic and artistic language with different symbols} on the responsible who caused and spread all of these epidemics..

Atmospheric indeed Soran. Powerful and potent images are conjured up for all readers to dwell and interpret. There's are two old adage's that spring to mind... Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And what goes around comes around. I firmly believe in both especially the latter. 10 ++ and added to my payback favs. Thanks Soran and take care.

This is fantastic writing- -the poem is complex, rich in imagery, has emotional impact through word choice and imagery, and layers upon layers. This is a poem that requires reading and thinking and more rereading and thinking- -the mark of an important piece of literature. 10++++++++ and onto my fav list and you go onto my fav poet list

A sad reality that will never end corruption and greed has always been the trend.

Dear poet Valsa, I want to thank you for this professional comment on my poem, really your golden speech has to be written on the wall of every dictator's palaces: (The zealots of power are steeped in corruption and the immediate victims are suffering....! But its ramifications are far reaching and will spare no one) . all the best and kind regards
