Between Two Hearts Poem by Heather Burns

Between Two Hearts

Rating: 3.8

Tucked away in the
secret chambers of
of two hearts

a love never to be
revealed

to speak about is
forbidden
the pain too great

between two hearts
a love story

the flame continues
to glow
lasting a lifetime.

this poem resonates with a desire at the core of our innermost being. Share our love yet keep a little corner just for our self. Loved it even if I am wrong in my comment.

I think we all have had that love that goes unspoken of for some reason or another. Your poem put it so simply and true.
