Blaise Pascal

Rating: 5.0

Blaise Pascal
(June 19,1623 - August 19,1662)

He was a genius having done so much in 39 years
In the field of Mathematics, Physics and Philosophy
Laid the foundation of Modern Theory of Probability
Pascals Principle and Law of Pressure in Hydraulics
His Principle of Intuitionism led to the doctrine-
God can be experienced through the heart
rather than through reason like many other things

He opened up new frontiers of scientific research.

Blaise Pascal is one of my heroes also. He was talented and original in so many fields. I have read the 'Pensees' a few times. Pascal searched for God in a different way from the traditionalists: not in the heavens or stars, or orbit of the planets, but in the human heart. A modern approach.
