Butterfly 1 - Beautiful Butterflies
Butterflies are beautiful winged beings,
Blues that may live only for one or two weeks,
Brush footed butterfly may live for eight months,
Believe it or not, they have only a short life of lively movements,
But, isn't it a vibrant life? Full of fascinating hues of joyful moments!
Butterflies are gentle, graceful creatures,
Benign in nature, they do not sting, bite or fight back,
Bright butterflies have various protective adaptations,
Brave creatures that escape predators like birds, frogs and lizards,
Banking and hiding under the leaves to lay their eggs for protection.
Butterflies move and migrate from one place to another,
Blue Tiger butterfly, so fascinating, adapting to weather conditions,
Beaming butterflies that cleverly avoid extreme cold and heavy rains,
Blue Mormons flying from South India to Mumbai's wooded terrains
Beautiful Butterfly! I wish, I were You!
Bouncing on the hills and mountains with glee,
Beaming with the flowers of woods and valleys,
Bubbly always, flying, gliding, dancing so free!
