Complete Happiness Poem by Ernestine Northover

Complete Happiness

Rating: 4.5

Greet the bright dawn with joy,
Raise your spirit to the light,
Then your smile you must employ,
Swiftly expelling the gloomy night.

A new day comes into view,
To be shaped and to redesign,
And each move will be, by you
So perfect, so right and fine.

The birds will start their song,
And delight in this newborn day,
And with your courage so strong,
Exhilaration will come your way.

Greet the bright dawn with joy,
Don't give in to tears and stress,
Find nothing that might annoy,
Come to know complete happiness.

I will definitely give it a go Ernestine, but we must allow our emotions to flow equally, we can't hide them, just store them up. complete happiness is on my way...I will find it one day. Smiling at you, Tai

To look for peace in the quiet of the moment then find, is almost too much for the heart to bear, as it may have been some time sinse this joyous occasion took place A beautiful feeling in this one Ernestine You have told it so well Love Duncan X

What a lovely way to start the day - even afternoon days! Question though: should the first stanza read Then your smile you must employ rather than Then your smile, you must employ? Just a thought. Love your writing. Scarlett
