Constant Winter Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Constant Winter

Rating: 5.0

My mind is in a constant winter
And the wind blows cold
As I continue to carry myself above the snow
I am drowning in my tears
They become frozen with doubt
I cannot see my way
As the hail breaks my soul
And rip my skin with icy knives
I am left for dead
As the sun's warmth arrives

Could not be a better description of depression than this! .. Straight to the heart, straight to the soul! ..

Tragically superb! And infinitely painful. Feelings promptly and deeply felt, Not easy to forget!
