Cotton Candy Poem by Vijay Sai R

Cotton Candy

Pure pink
Fluffy and soft
So sweet and succulent
Sugar crystals all over
Weaving threads
So subtle and thin
Cotton candy
I had in a fair
So hard to forget
Its complexion and flavor
I look above
Sunlight into brilliant blue
Cotton candy clouds
Vivid white
Spreading all over
Sneaking here and there
So fluffy and soft
I wonder
So tempting
Can I have that too?

I like this a lot. Very evocative of time, place, and sensory sensation.

we call it fairy floss in Australia. Fairies swish it between their teeth. Well and good for them. As they don't eat they don't need their teeth.

This is a great start on a poem that could be full of sexual innuendo! Take it further! ! ! Make my heart beat
