Victory, be not proud!
Had I not lost, you couldn't have won,
If I were not there, life wouldn't be fun,
It is amazing, why I am being shunned?
Twin sister, why I am being gunned?
Without sorrow, you know not the joys,
In man's life these are two toys,
When we behave as wanton boys,
To guide our way, the other He ploys.
The sum total of the Truth is ONE,
It is half plus half which makes one,
Without me, half truth is known,
In my absence you feel alone.
All through life we make noise,
Gita's message is to equipoise.
These are right thoughts, being One, how can we beat ourselves? You write my kind of poetry. Bob Blackwell
...had you not written, i couldn`t have read - perpetual duality in all aspects of life - wise and very well penned!
another great composition from a great man...meaning so deep...that put me into deep thought...this piece helped me accept defeat without pain...that losing shouldnt affect us by all means for...'.Without me, half truth is known, In my absence you feel alone.' Thanks you for sharing this piece sir....10+
Thanks Sir …you’ve reminded very nicely...delved into the flip side of life …we must contemplate upon... Yeah getting nothing is but a kind of ‘getting’… Wonderfully penned and delivered and coordinated message of Gita vide infra: ‘Gita's message is to equipoise.’ Even mindedness 10++ Ms. Nivedita UK
What you have said has power! It is truely unfortunate, that in this world, in which we live, that 'bad things' will always emurage just ahead 'Good things'. It is a natural order... 'Good things' relay on their piety to better prove what is seemingly proof positive evidence for there moral(lol) compass, and therefore Truth...
Very interesting, concept of losing and winning! In life, there's always, an end and a beginning. Enjoyed, this write, very much and have to tell you, you have, the touch!
Defeat and triumph Success and failure are but two sides of the same coin neither can exist alone
