My thoughts were rendered
Dormant, as my Inspiration
Refused to shine on the
Reserved spaces of
My inner landscape,
Citing the reason of expiration!
Then I hoped that time
Would compel the calyx
Of graveness to unwrap and
Animate a fashionable bloom
But it hung there in trance
Prolonging my impatient wait!
I decided to stimulate
My cadaverous senses
With the emotive tales
Of garrulous young memory,
But it did not show up for long
From the esoteric voids of amnesia!
Desires ran out of stock
Feelings stood cancelled
Foggy curtains won’t raise
To reveal the lively sky
Frustrated, I preferred to sleep
A message flashed “Dreams sold out! ”
from gloom bloom new dreams, seema...our dreams are like perinnial river. they may become soiled for a while but soon crystal clear waters reveal themselves for us to float on them...i liked the choice of words that built the tone of the poem...disappointment effectively conveyed! will u agree if i say it's more difficult to convey joy?
With every passing disappointments, it is a challenge, and we must learn how to fight back, grasp even a single thread of hope and have faith within yourself. You have penned a beautiful theme Seema, different from all. a 10/10

'Foggy curtains won’t raise To reveal the lively sky' fogginess of the mind beautifully pictured in this line...a poet can derive inspiration even from disappointing thoughts...as we see in this excellent piece...ten for you, Seema

Yeah, at times when we r disappointed, we try to feel happy recalling our happy moments, yes they do make us happy but do not last for long, as the current disappointment again takes over us.: (
