Drink On Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Drink On

Rating: 5.0

I do not want to wait or stop
Nor go back on my cards
The past remains behind my back
I have come off this far

Beckons? Nay, I hear those hoots
For them, I won't fall
Bittersweet- these butter fruits
Better ward off them all

So far what I gained would last
What is lost is past
Water isn't stored for once
What is life? Drink that!
