Environment 10 - The Unique Environmental Cranes
An amazing structure caught my eyes
As I walked
Along the Kalyan Shil Phata road
Alongside the Lodha Palava township area,
A unique device and installation,
Amidst a background of trees!
Beautiful figures of Cranes.
Three cranes standing regally,
While one sitting majestically.
White silvery metallic cranes,
Wings folded yet gleaming,
Long curved neck of pipes,
Artistically designed,
Cleverly devised,
Sculpturally carved,
Fabulous creation of Haribabu Natesan!
Why were these metallic cranes installed?
Not just as a vision of beauty alone,
But as a symbol of environmental change.
These cranes can transform and regenerate
The discarded industrial machinery parts
Into something useful and productive.
By recycling the waste products into
Usable and constructive products.
We are conserving and preserving
The earth's soil and natural resources.
Save Mother Earth and its environment
In order to maintain the ecological balance!
Recycle Waste to
Regenerate,
Reconstruct and
Rejuvenate the Mother Earth!
Here is a poem to bring about an awareness and responsibility to save the earth and its environment.
I was amazed to these structures of silvery metal cranes as a symbol of ecological balance. I spotted these cranes last weekend, while walking along the Lodha Palava township area, near Kalyan in Maharashtra, India
A wonderful and insightful write. A marvelous poem that gives emphasis to the celebration of Environment Day, the care and protection of environment and a unique device like cranes to combat environmental pollution.

I love this poem! About construction and recycling and how it happens then like poetry of space. And before I saw the picture, I thought you were referring to the 'cranes' that are used like ladders to lift huge objects in high rise building construction. And that was so much word and mind play. FABULOUS - especially for somebody into sculpture and recycling. Fantastic poem/
