Eyewitness

Rating: 5.0

Face cloth in one hand
and with the other
eyeliner goes to her
magical eyes.
In front of a mirror
she saw her facet
and the faceless.
It's a confusion
and an eye-opener.
She has witnessed
my soul in the mirror.

Provocative title. Your poem speaks volumes in a very few words. Charming but also a bit vulnerable too. Sandra

This is a wonderful piece my friend. You capture a fleeting moment, within the narrative, and expand on it so beautifully.

In a few words you manage to say much. I love your work. Hope I can read all of it some time soon.

Nimal, it seems to me I've been out of the loop so long that I missed it when you changed your style. Growth is good and seems to have done you well. A+!

I'm rarely lost for words. Here, I can say merely that this is, to me, a perfect piece. t x
