Five Liners.1 (The Finishing Touch)

Rating: 5.0

With a stroke of the brush,
A dab of paint,
A portrait, I drew,
Blew into it the breath of life,
Lo! There it stays my Masterpiece

after the finishing touch, the painters normally do not touch the paintings again, even if they try to touch also, it looks very odd, but the poets have the option of editing. very touching poem!

What you've put so well in a five-liner as you say is eminently true. Any work of art, portrait be it or poetry, what makes a difference is infusion of life in it.
