Five Liners No.10. Nostalgia Poem by Valsa George

Five Liners No.10. Nostalgia

Rating: 5.0

A melancholic ache for times gone
A resounding echo that is calling
A mirage of the desert
That eludes the riders of the caravan
But excites the loner like an oasis in wilderness

Nostalgic experiences of the kind are a bliss as the shortest pains are the greatest pleasures. Even when we touch an ice cube or a live electric wire we treasure it for its nostalgic flavour. Every nostalgia of the kind still better and leaves one lost in the cradle of time. A good five liner Madam.

The traveler of desert being frustrated by mirages, ultimately finds an oasis where there is greenery, water and the dates and green bushes for his camel too.........................10

The mirage is what keeps the caravan moving in the dreary desert of life. Let the sands be soft beneath your feet Let the sun be less harsh on your brow Time traveler of several births that you are Let you find deliverance of your honest soul..........
