Foggy Moon
I see you in the sky
Do you see me?
Or does the fog obstruct your eye?
Though you appear small,
You're closer than we think.
Perhaps you CAN see me
I thought I saw you wink!
Amazing to me
That you see me at all.
With Earth so far away,
I must seem very small,
How you winked at me,
I've come to a decision.
You must be equipped
With telescopic vision!
Fog appears amazingly in sky. At night while moon smiles this is dispersed with fog. We feel that moon smiles under veil of fog. With telescopic vision we can very clearly see the beauty of foggy moon. A strong perception is beautifully presented in this interesting poem. This is excellent poem...10
Kumarmani, you've come through for me once again, with tremendous encouragement to continue writing. Thank you for all your positive feedback! :)
Humorous and sweet, Clever and tender To be remembered, Not to delete.
Many thanks, Sandra, for your lovely comment. Popular topic, that Moon, isn't it? I seem to recall one of your best-known poems was 'Lonely Moon'! :)
brilliant deduction, after all this time. Still, you might be brighter than you think
Aw-w-w-w, Douglas. Do I perceive a possible veiled compliment here? Do I shine so brightly that even the Man in the Moon could spot me, from that distance? In any case, thanx for reading & commenting!

A foggy mysterious moon, a wonderful subject to write about. Though you appear small, You're closer than we think. Perhaps you CAN see me I thought I saw you wink! Really liked this stanza. Light, airy and humorous, not foggy like the moon.
Thank ya, Cap'n! The moon seems to be a universally popular topic to write about. Perhaps because, from any point on Earth, the moon is visible. How many dark, lonely nights have pirates sailed their ships, with only the moon's light to guide them?
