Foot Steps Of Spring. Poem by Bharati Nayak

Foot Steps Of Spring.

Rating: 5.0

Foot Steps of Spring.
Foot steps of Spring
Resounded in every flower
In the thick bowers of mango blossoms
There was cuckoo songs fair.
A string of tube-rose
Was hanging from the maiden's hair
Her heart and body
Were immersed
In fragrance lovely
Wind was murmuring in a tone sweet
Moon was writing letters to lily
For the sun, Lotus was waiting
In the ears of flowers
Bees were humming
Colors were scattered
On butterfly's wings.

After spring came
Winter, summer and rain
Years have passed
But time has not touched the maiden's heart
She is still young
In the sweet buzz
And scents of spring.

A melodious poem to welcome the spring. How can one remain aloof without being touched by this change? A thoughtful poem. Loved it 100++

We hear beautiful song of spring watching seasonal blooming of flowers. Seasonal fragrance of spring we inhale. We hear the footstep sound of spring that pleases us. An excellent imagery is drawn in this beautiful natural poem. Spring is favourable for all creatures....10

Thank you Sri Kumarmani Mahakul for your valuable comment.Spring is a favourable season for all creatures as there is no harshness of nature during that time and Spring is associated with love, color and music.

I feel that I have stepped into a cool garden created by the beauty of your words. The wonder of spring reborn, yet timeless, grows quietly and lushly in this piece. I have stopped by here for a moment, and have been blessed by your poem. Thank you!
